Tanya Vinokur is a virtuoso violinist, singer, dancer, and composer, who over the years has created a unique sound that combines East and West through music and movement.

At the center of her performances is the violin – the instrument most associated with Jewish culture for generations – which is given new life in a breathtaking performance that combines Jewish, Gypsy, Balkan, Spanish and Mediterranean music. Tania weaves together playing, singing and dancing with extraordinary skill, creating a multi-disciplinary performance that is rare in its power.

The fusion of different styles is an expression of Vinokur's personal roots, but also a reflection of contemporary Israeli culture - a culture in which East and West not only live side by side, but are assimilated into each other and create a new and original musical language in the international arena.

Vinokur was born in Chisinau to a musical family and was inspired by art from a young age. She began playing the violin and dancing ballet at the age of four, and appeared on stage shortly after. At the age of eight, she immigrated to Israel, and since then has performed in Israel and around the world with the best artists – including the Mayoman Band, David Broza, Mosh Ben Ari, Glykeria, Rita – and starred in many projects, including the "Matvecha Project", alongside original shows of her own creation.

In each performance, Tanya creates a unique connection with the audience – she plays, sings, tells the story of the music and takes viewers on a world-encompassing musical journey, through Jewish, Gypsy, Spanish and Ladino rhythms and sounds – a kind of living painting of cultures and landscapes.

As an international artist, Vinokur has performed in the United States, Cuba, Europe, Thailand, and on the TEDxJaffa stage, recorded eight albums, performed seven repertoire shows, and collaborated with leading artists from diverse musical fields – including pianist Mirim Mendes, Cuban composer Pavel Orkitza, Greek singer Glykaria, the band "Gypsy Kings," and DJs from Israel and around the world.
